Ogimachisanjo Saneyosi (正親町三条実義)

Saneyosi OGIMACHISANJO (December 8, 1798 - July 13, 1820) was a kogyo (court noble) during the late Edo period. He mainly served during the time of Emperor Kokaku (119th) and was promoted to the official rank of Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank) Gon Chunagon (a provisional vice-councilor of state). His father was Gon Chunagon (a provisional vice-councilor of state), Kinnori OGIMACHISANJO. His mother was the daughter of Gon Dainagon (a provisional chief councilor of state), Tsunehaya KAJUJI. His wife was the daughter of Mistutsura MATSUDAIRA, the lord of the Matsumoto Domain. His sons were Kintaru OGIMACHISANJO and Sanenaru OGIMACHISANJO.

He was conferred a peerage in 1799 and was gradually promoted, taking various positions such as a member of the Palace staff, Ukone no shosho (Minor Captain of the Right Division of Inner Palace Guards), Sakone gon no chujo (Provisional Middle Captain of the Left Division of Inner Palace Guards) as well as Sangi (councillor), and in 1818, he received Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank), the position ranked with a kogyo (court noble). In the same year, 1818, he served as Toka no sechie Geben (a kugyo who supervised many matters outside the Imperial Court Ceremony, called Jomei Gate at Toka no sechie), however, died young at the age of 23 in 1821.
